Apogee Technology was started in October 1989 by Lee Shields to supply 3rd party support to the Apple Macintosh market, serving many local design, print and photography companies.

In the early 90s Apple opened up the hardware sales market allowing us to supply a full range of macintosh services.

We have always continued to service the technical aspects of client systems which led to requests to fix web development issues for clients.

The natural progression for Apogee was to move into the web development market, and although competition is very strong, there are many opportunities where our technical expertise allows us to offer a little extra.

We concentrate on working with design company clients to offer them a production service, allowing them flexibility while avoiding conflicts of interest. We offer a direct service also but do not claim to be designers, and always recommend clients use good design and photography as a basis to any project.

Website and database development is now the primary focus of Apogee Technology.
