Apogee Technology was started in October 1989 by Lee Shields to supply 3rd party support to the Apple Macintosh market, serving many local design, print and photography companies.
In the early 90s Apple opened up the hardware sales market allowing us to supply a full range of macintosh services.
We have always continued to service the technical aspects of client systems which led to requests to fix web development issues for clients.
The natural progression for Apogee was to move into the new media market, and although competition is very strong, there are many opportunities where our technical expertise allows us to offer a little extra.
We also concentrate on working with design company clients to offer them a production service, allowing them flexibility while avoiding conflicts of interest.
Website and database development is now the primary focus of Apogee and with several large UK companies and also multi-national corporations utilising our services we look forward to the future with great excitement.
"Suckers who've acted on the letter by allowing IPS to take their passport hostage will be forced to cough up for a new one, except in the unlikely event that Philips screwed up. So if you're handed that letter, don't act on it. And if thousands, or tens of thousands of people are handed that letter, IPS will have a problem that it's not going to be able to park with Philips."
